It's
a fact...
The tree was named
after James backhouse and English
botanist. It was first mentioned in 1899
in a book "Useful Native Plants of
Australia" by Joseph H Mailden, Director
of the Royal Botanical Gardens in
Sydney.
Lemon Scented Myrtle is
also known as Lemon Scented Backhousia,
Lemon Scented Ironwood and Sweet Verbena
Myrtle.
